Session 2: Manaiakalani
A reminder that it is important that kids do some video explanations to talk about their thinking.
There are so many ways we can get kids to share their learning.
Great to have a reminder that there is a space for creativity in Maths :)
Session 3: Communication
Good ideas showing lots of ways to communicate.
Session 4: Create in Mathematics
Lot of good ideas on ways to create their learning. More interesting than just a slide or paper.
Session 5: Sharing in Maths
A good list of ways and places to share.
These can be made very authentic.
Session 6: Gemini for teachers
This was so good.
Multiplication game.
I did create a Google Vid.
It was tricky. I now know how the kids feel when we teach them something new and expect them to do it.
Not good as I could not sort out the microphone.
I can see it would be a useful device once I and the tamariki can use it.
I absolutely loved my 9 MPI sessions.
I have already started recommending the course to others.
Thanks so much.
Huge congratulations on completing MPI, Petrina!
