Bet boxes - let them practise folding and unfolding boxes and seeing the nets
Good activity to reinforce that there are various net shapes.

This will be great to link to my topic learning. We are going to create a tukutuku panel this term.
Session 8 - Pathways
Very good activity.
I very much look forward to teaching geometric thinking. It is the area that I had planned to teach this term. I will make a geometry page on my class site.

ReplyDeleteThere are lots of great resources you can add to your class site. I am looking forward to seeing the geometry page when you have designed it. The more I explore Mathegon the more amazing resources and activities I find. It is one of my favourite Maths sites.
